Graduation and Excellence Awards Ceremony of the 49th promotion of the Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP).

The Hassania School of Public Works organized, on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM, the graduation and excellence awards ceremony for the graduates of its 49th promotion for the academic year 2022-2023. The event was presided over by Mr. Nizar BARAKA, Minister of Equipment and Water, and attended by the Secretary-General of the Prefecture of Hay Hassani District, the Director of EHTP, and the representative of the Association of Engineers from this school (AIEHTP). Also present at the event were Central Directors and executives from the Ministry of Equipment and Water, as well as Presidents and CEOs of partner institutions of the School, and Federations and Professional Associations.

In his speech on this occasion, Mr. Nizar Baraka confirmed that the graduation of this new promotion is the culmination of hard work characterized by dedication, knowledge exchange, and the result of the efforts made by all graduates to achieve success and excellence.

The Minister of Equipment and Water added that he is fully convinced that this promotion will contribute to enriching the development process that our country is undergoing and to the realization of significant projects in various fields in all regions of the Kingdom.

This year’s promotion includes 223 laureates in the following specialties:

  • Civil Engineering with its two options: Building Engineering and Transport Infrastructure: 92
  • Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering: 26
  • Urban and Environmental Engineering: 19
  • Electrical Engineering: 33
  • Computer Engineering: 18
  • Geographic Information Sciences: 25
  • Graduates with double degrees from foreign partner schools: 10

During this ceremony, AIEHTP and various organizations and partners awarded excellence prizes to the top students in each engineering discipline, in addition to an award for the top student of the promotion. Collaboration was expanded with two partners: the General Company of Morocco Works and the NOVEC Engineering Office, through the signing of two framework agreements. These agreements demonstrate the common desire of institutions to enhance student employability, develop the skills of professionals, and continuously innovate in their fields of activity, as well as to promote scientific research.

This year was also marked by the graduation of the first Doctor from the Doctoral Studies Center of the Hassania School of Public Works, who also received an award on this occasion.

At the end of the ceremony, a message of loyalty and allegiance was addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him.
