Specialized Master in Port and Maritime Engineering

TRAINING AIMS

The IPM Specialized Master’s Program aims to offer participants training whose objectives revolve around the acquisition and mastery of:

Tools and techniques for planning, setting up and managing port projects;
Skills necessary to work in the field of port engineering, development and defense of coastal zones;
Techniques to understand the design, sizing, management and control processes of protection and berthing structures (Dikes and Quays);
Mastery of carrying out advanced engineering studies (Wave propagation, Agitation, Resonance, Dynamic mooring analysis, Under Keel Clearance, currentology, hydrosedimentary, Maneuverability, etc.).

CONCERNED PUBLIC AND ADMISSION CONDITIONS

Framework justifying a level of studies equivalent to Bac + 5
Possibility of exemption for Bac + 4 or Bac + 3 level diplomas upon study of the file

The training modules are as follows:

Module 1: Seaports and their administrative organization
Module 2: Characterization of the marine environment, data collection and analysis
Module 3: Geotechnics and coastal sedimentology
Module 4: Numerical modeling and scientific calculation using software
Module 5: Design of ports and shoreline protection structures
Module 6: Sizing of dykes and berthing structures
Module 7: Control and management of works and methods of carrying out works
Module 8: Physical modeling
Module 9: Programming and planning of port projects
Module 10: Port concession methods and Public-Private Partnership projects
Module 11: Regulation of the maritime and port public domain
Module 12: Port operating equipment and security in the port enclosure
Module 13: Port Asset Maintenance Engineering
Module 14: Inspections and underwater monitoring of structures
Professional project

PARTICIPATION RIGHTS

Participation fees amount to 72,000 DHs including tax
The application fee is set at 500 Dh

CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING THE DIPLOMA

The study program leads to the granting of the Specialized Master in Port and Maritime Engineering from the Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP)

The conditions for obtaining the diploma are as follows:

Validation of all modules.
Successful defense of the Professional Project.
