Specialized Master in Geotechnical Design

TRAINING AIMS

The Specialized Master of Establishment “Geotechnical Design” in partnership with SETEC MAROC aims to:
• Strengthen Moroccan engineering with profiles of geotechnical engineers capable of responding to the geotechnical challenges that support the development of national infrastructure and the construction of strategic works (LGV, Ports, Dams, etc.)
• Prepare participants in this training for the adoption of new geotechnical standards and guides that can be used internally
• Establish prestigious and attractive training at EHTP which reinforces its leading role in Civil Engineering training.
The proposed program is developed in the form of a specialized Master’s course where participants will acquire the technical background necessary to develop technical skills in the geotechnical profession. It is composed of 7 successive modules with a progressive evolution of
knowledge and complexity.
A team of experts and teaching specialists will offer you the best approaches to designing geotechnical structures for total efficiency in your projects.

CONCERNED PUBLIC AND ADMISSION CONDITIONS

This Specialized Master of Establishment training is tailor-made for young graduates and experienced professionals. Registrations are open to candidates holding a Bac+5 level diploma. Candidates holding a Bac+4 or Bac+3 level diploma and demonstrating particularly significant professional experience in the fields of training may be admitted by derogation from the
selection jury.

The training modules are as follows:

Module 1: Geological and geotechnical contexts
Module 2: Geotechnical reconnaissance
Module 3: Basics of Geotechnics
Module 4: Geotechnical calculation of structures
Module 5: Digital modeling in geotechnics
Module 6: Soil-structure interaction
Module 7: Geotechnical calculation standards and contribution of the observational method

PARTICIPATION RIGHTS

The participation fee amounts to 70,000 Dh
The application fee is set at 500 Dh

CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING THE DIPLOMA

The study program leads to the granting of the Specialized Master in “Geotechnical Design” from the Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP)

The conditions for obtaining the diploma are as follows:

Validation of all modules.
Successful defense of the Professional Project.
