The EHTP Center for Doctoral Studies “Engineering Sciences and Techniques” is launching a call for applications

The Doctoral Studies CenterEngineering Sciences and Techniques” at EHTP is issuing a call for applications for doctoral programs for the academic year 2021-2022.

Doctoral Specialties​

The CEDoc of EHTP offers six specific training programs (specialties) provided by its two laboratories:

  • LaGCET: Laboratory of Civil Engineering, Climate, Water, Environment, and Transportation
  • LaGeS: Laboratory of Systems Engineering

With three programs per laboratory.

  • LaGCET Laboratory
  1. Civil Engineering (GC)
  2. Hydraulic Engineering & Environment (GHE)
  3. Meteorology & Climate (MC)
  4. Transportation and Logistics
  • Laboratoire LaGeS
    1. Génie Electrique (GE),
    2. Génie Informatique (GI),
    3. Sciences Géomatiques (SG).

Welcome Structures

The research structures responsible for hosting doctoral students are the CEDoc with its two research laboratories:

  • LaGCET (Laboratory of Civil Engineering, Climate, Water, Environment, and Transportation)
  • LaGeS (Laboratory of Systems Engineering)

Admission Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree, a specialized Master‘s degree, a State Engineer’s Diploma, or any other equivalent degree that meets the admission criteria outlined in the doctoral training descriptions at EHTP.

Candidacy

The key dates for registration in the Doctoral Cycle, Edition 2021-2022, are indicated in the following table:

Submission of Online Application

Candidates must submit their application online.

  • Pre-registration form to be filled out: Click here
  • Start date of registration: Wednesday, October 28, 2021
  • Pre-registration deadline: Tuesday, November 9, 2021

The compressed digital dossier must include the following elements:

  1. Curriculum vitae with a photograph of the candidate,
  2. Letter of motivation,
  3. Scanned copy of ID card/passport
  4. Scanned copy of both sides of the Baccalaureate certificate
  5. Scanned copy of the Engineer’s or Master’s or Specialized Master’s degree or equivalent diploma
  6. Scanned copy of diploma equivalence (if necessary)
  7. Scanned copy of academic transcripts for the entire university course.
 
  • Completed and signed first-year doctoral registration form (attached).
  • Original and certified copy of the engineer’s or Master’s degree or equivalent diploma (provide equivalence if applicable).
  • Certified copies of Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and Baccalaureate diplomas.
  • Certified copy of the National Identity Card.
  • 2 recent passport-size photos.
  • Thesis charter signed by the doctoral candidate and the thesis supervisor (attached).
  • Authorization issued and signed by the candidate’s hierarchy if non-government employee.
  • Thesis subject form signed by the thesis supervisor (attached).
  • Insurance certificate.
  • Notarized declaration of honor (single registration at the national level).
  • If the doctoral candidate is already enrolled in another doctoral school and wishes to pursue his thesis at EHTP, he must present, during registration at CEDoc EHTP:

  1. Either a discharge signed by his thesis supervisor and the Director of the CEDoc where he is enrolled.
  2. Or, in case of withdrawal, a signed and notarized withdrawal letter from the candidate.
