In Morocco, EHTP is the only institution that provides training in meteorology. Due to its proximity to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), its expertise, and the socio-economic mission it holds, it was entrusted with the task of training engineers specialized in meteorology through a tripartite agreement with the DMN and the National School of Meteorology in Toulouse (ENM) in 1992.

The curriculum of the Meteorology program includes specialized disciplines that require the involvement of experts working within the DMN. This allows engineering students to master the technical tools they will need in their future roles. The program includes theoretical and practical courses, visits to meteorological services, mini-projects, internships, and more.

Objectives of the Training

The training in meteorology at the Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP) aims to train specialized engineers on behalf of certain national economic operators, including the National Meteorology Department, hydraulic basin agencies, MASEN, etc..

The training course is developed in consultation with the main recruiting organizations, in order to enable engineering students to acquire and master the necessary technical tools, which they will need during the exercise of their function. This course has a particular character and uses fairly sophisticated techniques, requiring the intervention of specialists.

In addition to technical training, engineering students also receive training in management and communication. This integrated training allows them to equip themselves with solid scientific, technical and human skills to be able to easily integrate into the professional world and assume the responsibilities for which they are destined.
